One of the worst things you can do is create an office space that doesn’t have enough space. If you’re creating a workspace for multiple people it can be tempting to try and be as efficient as possible with the space – and getting minimal sized desks etc put in place. These allow people to have a feeling of their desk being separate from others, which is a nice feeling in a shared office. As much as it is important for all of the business and legal side of things to work, creating a workspace that people are happy in is essential. People tend to spend a majority of their day at work, and if in an office than at their desk so you should make it as nice to be there as possible. Tea and coffee making facilities is always a nice touch, nice decor, efficient air conditioning and even pieces of art on the wall all make the difference.
