Advances in technology mean that there are now more sophisticated gadgets than ever – and plenty that we can take advantage of around the home. We tend to assume that gadgets are flash in the pan things that we’ll use for a while and then get bored of and not use again, but there are some really great practical gadgets. Here are some really great gadgets you didn’t even know you needed.
The Ninja Foodi
We have the 9 in 1 Ninja Foodi, but there are some great other Ninja products out there. When we bought this we were worried that it would be a slightly wasted investment, as it’s a lot of money to spend on something that is going to sit in the kitchen unused. However, actually, we use it at least 4-5 times a week. Admittedly we mostly use the air crisp option, but we cooked our first gammon using the pressure cooker function the other day and it was great. Functions that this gadget has includes air crisp, bake, pressure cook, steam and saute – so a pretty varied range of functions that would suit most kitchen needs.

A Watch Winder
If you have a watch that needs winding then an automatic watch winder is a must. The Echo Dot
As you might expect from an Amazon based gadget there are plenty of different options for the Alexa Dot, all of which come with different features. We have the 3rd Gen Echo Dot which we use for dropping in to speak to the house when we’re out, playing music and asking random questions to – you can set it up to work with your smart devices and it even tells you when your Amazon parcels are due, really handy!
