Although international travel has opened back up, for many the increased costs, the risks and even the thought of being so far away from home means that a trip abroad isn’t on the cards just yet. One of the things we love the idea of is having our very own motorhome and being able to do a mini road trip of different campsites while on a trip. We don’t currently own a motorhome but have been keeping an eye on the cost of them – being a motorhome owner is definitely in our future. We’ve been doing some research surrounding places to visit in Wales and have been pleasantly surprised at just how much there is to do – especially in terms of family-friendly attractions. For example, within Snowdonia National Park there is Bounce Below – a park site within an abandoned mine underground, how cool does that sound?
We definitely want to try and head to Colwyn Bay and visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo and we also love the idea of a day out at Beacons National Park – now can you see why owning a motorhome to do a trip like this would be the ideal thing for us? We might well hire a caravan and find a caravan park or two to stay at while we explore the Black Mountains and everything else this part of the world has to offer. One of the things we have found is that we absolutely do not miss out just because we don’t go abroad for a holiday – instead, we can visit tourist attractions, eat in nice restaurants, take in nice views and spend some solid family time together; which is something really important to us!
