We’re well and truly into March and we’ve just had Shrove Tuesday, which means that Easter is well and truly on its way. We’ve had a few years where we haven’t been able to celebrate Easter as we once would have but for many people, this year is going to be one that they can celebrate, so let’s look at easter activities for the whole family.
An Easter Egg Hunt
Whether it’s putting together an Easter egg hunt for the younger members of the family or participating in the hunt itself, an Easter egg hunt is an ideal activity for this time of year. It can be created inside the house or outside if the weather allows, it’s cost-effective and it creates a real sense of fun for all those taking part. Easter games are a real bonus for this time of year so definitely something the whole family should consider taking part in.
Easter Baking
Baking is fun any time of the year; so why not do some at Easter too? Creating your own decorated eggs, making easter biscuits or even putting together an Easter lunch for everyone can be a really fun and delicious activity to take part in. You could even get adventurous and look at making things like your own homemade hot cross buns – and of course, not many people would say no to a repeat of pancake day!
Making Easter Gifts
Crafting is another fun activity, so why not use your skills to create Easter gifts for the family – decorated cards and some of those Easter biscuits you made are bound to go down well with the rest of the family.
