It may not be the 1st of January but that doesn’t mean you can’t start a new habit or a lifestyle change. We certainly don’t need to wait until New Year to make any resolution; so why not promise yourself you’ll be better with money this spring. Here are some handy tips!
Track What You’re Spending
It is pretty much impossible to be better with money if you’re not aware of what you’re spending, how it’s being sent and what you’re wasting. It’s super important to track what you’re spending; so doing an audit of your bank account and looking at your finances is a good place to start. Go over old bank statements and see if you’re being charged for subscriptions or members that you don’t use, or whether your Sky bill has gone up and needs looking at. Looking at what you’re spending and setting yourself a budget is the best way to consistently be better with money.

Be Strict With Yourself
It is all well and good making sure that you trak what you’re spending, but once you have worked out a sensible budget sticking to it is a must. Of course, there are going to be times when you have to spend out, emergencies happy but if you’re going over budget just because you fancy a takeaway instead of cooking then there is little point setting a budget in the first place.
Be Savvy
Being savvy is definitely one of the better ways to be better with money – look at ways you can earn with affiliates and surveys and even how you can get cashback on purchases you already make. There are some amazing money-savvy people on Instagram so following them for hints and tips and looking at their quick earners is a great way to make sure that you’re always at the top of your game when it comes to earning money!
If you have any tips on how to be better with money or ways that have worked for you we’d love you to share them.
