Stay Hydrated

Drinking more water is something that most of us could probably benefit from and your nails will likely benefit from it too! Plenty of water throughout the day is good for our hair, skin and nails so if you know you’re not drinking enough then do what you can to fix this and drink more – don’t forget there are plenty of tips online on how to make water more interesting which might help!

Consider Some Products

There are some great products that can help nails so it is worth looking into these and seeing what you might benefit from. This could be something as simple as a hand lotion with nail strengthening products included or a supplement you take to help make your nails strong. Vitamin B is great for nails and something like Biotin is great for this – it is also water-soluble so you can use it as a way to up your water intake too!

Things To Avoid

If you are concentrating on trying to make your nails stronger then there are some things that you should avoid. Exposing them to water for long lengths of time can make them weak – so wear gloves when you wash up and avoid spending too long in the pool. Fake nails might look great as a temporary measure but can often damage the real nail underneath them, so having natural nails for a few weeks is definitely beneficial.
